Community Service
Community Service at St Andrew's has evolved as a natural by-product of our Christian beginnings. We have a comprehensive suite of over 24 programmes that span from Junior School to Senior College. Each aims to create in our students an awareness of those other than themselves and a willingness to use their own skills and resources for positive community development.
Our programmes also seek to:
-
Provide information and structures to enable students to participate as active citizens in their community
-
Promote attitudes of tolerance and belonging among students.
As part of House groups, St Andrew's students run self-directed programmes aimed at targeted charities. They also work with organisations such as Red Cross, Anglicare, World Vision and Samaratin's Purse.
