Community Service at St Andrew’s Cathedral School has evolved as a natural by-product of our Christian beginnings. We have a comprehensive suite of programmes that span from Junior School to Senior College. Each aims to create in our students an awareness of those other than themselves and a willingness to use their own skills and resources for positive community development.
Our programmes also seek to:
Provide information and structures to enable students to participate as active citizens in their community
Promote attitudes of tolerance and belonging among students.
As part of House groups, St Andrew's students run self-directed programmes aimed at targeted charities. They also work with organisations such as Tear Australia, Red Cross, Anglicare, World Vision and Samaratin's Purse.
