Overseas Students (English translation)
Application process for International students
The Enrolment Application Form must be completed and returned to the Registrar, accompanied by copies of your child's three most recent School reports, details of Medibank Private card, a copy of the student's passport and visa, and payment of the non-refundable application fee of $450. The School will then confirm in writing the status of your child's application. If places are available, you will be contacted to arrange a formal interview with the Registrar, who will outline the School's facilities and subjects, discuss educational matters with your son or daughter, and briefly tour the School.
Prior to this interview, all overseas students must meet the School's minimum standard for English. This is achieved by sitting for a special test either in Australia or in the country of origin.
If the application is successful, you will receive a formal letter of offer from the Head of School and an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (ECoE). This ECoE is used to obtain or extend a student visa.
The offer will be fully confirmed when the documents are signed and returned with payment of a non-refundable Enrolment Fee and Enrolment Bond. The Enrolment Bond will be credited to you in its entirety, following settlement of the student's final account.
To help with a smooth transition for students into St Andrew’s Cathedral School, we have formed strong relationships with several ELICOS Colleges around Sydney. For more information on this please download the PDF below.
