Developing physical fitness and social skills
The St Andrew’s sport programme promotes sport activity for all students and all ability levels. Students are encouraged to participate because of the satisfaction and personal development gained through team participation. This improves physical fitness, and enables students to learn the skills to deal with success and failure as well as developing the ability to interact within various social environments.
Sporting Excellence
The School has a strong history in sporting excellence and continues to develop its sporting programmes with strong links to Sydney University. Many of our students represent the School in the Independent Sports Association (ISA) sporting competition which can provide a pathway to compete at Combined Independent Schools (CIS) level and even gain selection to NSW All Schools and Australian teams.
