Tuition Fees
Parents / guardians of prospective students are reminded of the financial commitment entailed in the payment of tuition fees and other expenses, such as School uniform and charges for excursions, special activities, etc.
Tuition fee statements for Kindergarten to Year 11 are mailed one week before the commencement of each of the four Terms in January, April, July and October. Tuition fees for Year 12 are billed in three equal instalments and mailed one week before the commencement of Term 1, 2 and 3; as Year 12 students do not attend classes in Term 4. All fees are payable within 14 days of the issue of fee statements.
Most years are timetabled to participate in the School's outdoor education programme at Kirrikee. A camp fee is invoiced at the beginning of the term in which the student's camp occurs. Certain excursion costs may apply to students undertaking those subjects requiring such curriculum elements. Costs will be advised to parents before the actual excursion.
Students in Middle School and the Senior College have an opportunity to attend the School's Extended Study Centre programme during the year. Information and costs for this ancillary, optional programme can be obtained from the Enrolments Office. In addition, Senior College students who undertake the Pathways programme are entitled to certain fee reductions depending on the subject selection. Details should be discussed with the Dean of Studies or the Registrar.
No IT or computer use levies are charged separately to the tuition fee.

Voluntary Building Fund
The fee statement contains a provision for parents to donate to the School's Voluntary Building Fund. This tax deductible donation of $150.00 per family per Term (recommended) (under Items in Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 - 2.1.10 school building fund) is a much needed source of additional income which is used to offset annual recurrent expenditure related to building maintenance, minor classroom improvements, painting, etc. The majority of families generously donate to this fund. The amount can be claimed against the nominated personal income tax return in the financial year in which the donation was given.
Application Fee / Enrolment Fee
Families seeking an enrolment place pay a non refundable Application Fee when they submit enrolment details. This fee covers the diverse variety of administrative tasks required to finalise the enrolment process.
When the student has been accepted parents / guardians are asked to pay a non refundable Enrolment Fee which is a monetary indication that the student's enrolment place has been confirmed. Following this payment the family will commence to receive a range of information from the School regarding events, concerts and other community functions that they may care to attend including welcome and information evenings. The non refundable Enrolment Fee provides automatic membership to the School's former student association, Old Andreans Association, when students complete their education at St Andrew's.
Other Donations
All parents are encouraged to become a financial member of the Association of Parents and Friends which sustains the Association's links with the NSW Parents' Council and provides other support information to the School from various interest groups. A membership amount is indicated on the relevant fee statement.
From time to time parents / guardians may be asked to support capital appeals or specific funding requests to help finance the development of new learning areas or provide expanded educational opportunities for all students. Such confidential donations are always gratefully received according to the donor's individual capacity to sustain such gifts. Donations allocated to building and certain library developments are fully tax deductible.
