Mr Ian Hammond
BA (Hons), FCA, FCPA
Ian Hammond is a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. His current focus is on providing assurance services to listed banks and insurance companies. Ian joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in January 1980 and was admitted to the partnership in July 1988. He has worked in both Sydney and New York offices.
Ian was a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board 1992 to 1999 and represented Australia on the International Accounting Standards Board from 1995 to 2000.
Ian is married to Jane and has three children. They live in Croydon and are members of St James Anglican Church Croydon. Ian assists in various pastoral ministries and leads Alpha courses. Ian is a member of the Audit Committee of the Anglican Church General Synod of Australia. He is involved in other advisory committees including Quizworks and Fusion.
Ian enjoys playing soccer and swimming. He also has an interest in old houses and gardens.
