Mr John Scott
BSc, MSc, Dip Ed, MEd, and AMusA
Mr Scott joined the School Council at the end of 2004. He has taught in a number of schools, including in the UK, and was Headmaster of Peninsula Grammar School Warriewood, and then St Luke’s Grammar School Dee Why. During his time as Headmaster, John was active in a number of Heads’ Associations, and was at various times Chairman of the Headmasters’ Conference, and Chairman of the Association of Heads of Coeducational Schools.
John and his wife are active members of St Andrew’s Cathedral, where he is a Lay Canon. They have three children, all of whom have become teachers.
He is currently Project Consultant for the Anglican Education Commission, looking at teacher education programmes for the Diocese, and is also a member of the Independent Schools Capital Grants Committee, a committee of the Association of Independent Schools
