Leadership program: Managing change in schools

St Andrew’s Cathedral School has created an inspiring leadership speaker series for teachers seeking to develop their leadership potential. The four dynamic lectures will deliver powerful insights into educational leadership. Teachers from all schools, sectors and stages are welcome to attend.

Lecture 3: Jann Robinson

Our third lecture will be presented by the Principal of St Luke’s Grammar School, Jann Robinson, who will share her insights on how to effectively manage change in schools. In her 15 years leading St Luke’s, Jann has managed a raft of changes, ranging from campus development through to the introduction of a new learning framework called the Learning Powered Approach. Jann holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and is a Board member of the Anglican Education Commission.

Our final speaker in 2020 is the CEO of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, David de Carvalho, who will present a very insightful talk on Education as cultural transmission or transformation? A conversation with Friedrich Nietzsche, Simone Weil, Hannah Arendt and Bernard Lonergan. We will advise closer to the time whether this lecture will be delivered online or face-to-face.
