The Phillip Heath Scholarship fund was established in honour of Mr Phillip Heath’s significant contributions as Head of School from 1995 to 2009.
It is a scholarship that is founded and funded by parents and friends of the school, thereby creating a truly lasting legacy. The wonderful generosity of those who have donated to the fund reflect the deep sense of community within SACS.
Sometimes families at school need our help. Their circumstances can suddenly change in a way that dramatically disrupts family life. A serious illness, accident, death or other unforeseen tragedy can have a traumatic and grievous impact. Supporting families in need has always been a central part of our culture here.
On occasion, these families also need our financial assistance, to ensure the students can continue their education here. At such times, short-term fee relief can provide much needed solace and support at an extremely difficult time.
Sadly, we have more students needing this support that we can currently fund.
The Phillip Heath Scholarship Fund provides short-term fee relief to support families of existing students at SACS who experience unforeseen financial difficulties
A Message from the founders of the Phillip Heath Scholarship Fund:
“Please make your gift with passion; just imagine how many children we may be able to help, children who would otherwise not have the chance to be educated at St Andrew’s”. Simon and Julie Gandevia,
