Our approach integrates character development and service with a strong curriculum, including high expectations of students learning, student leadership opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Our Middle School is a welcoming, warm community. Our school culture encourages genuine relationships between students, staff and parents. We foster an environment where students are comfortable, secure and able to flourish during these important teenage years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Our students engage with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">School<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8216;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">s<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacs.nsw.edu.au\/in-the-classroom\/how-our-students-learn\/character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Character Strengths<\/a> throughout Year 7 to 12 in many varied and intentional ways. As students move through Middle School they remain in the same group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-font-azo has-blue-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">The tutorial programme incorporates wellbeing, study skills, social and community education, leadership and wellbeing activities. These sessions are age-appropriate and tailored for the experience and knowledge of the students at their various levels of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The House System<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-font-azo has-blue-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">In addition to year-based tutor groups, students at St Andrew\u2019s Cathedral School belong to a House and wear the appropriate badge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This enables students to participate in and contribute to a comprehensive range of activities.
