We aim to create a learning environment where students are able to access the curriculum, have opportunities to contribute to class discussions and participate in class activities. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The team also works closely with the Head of Careers and Pathways, our school psychologists and Aboriginal Education Mentor. This collaborative approach ensures communication and sharing where parents and professionals work together, supporting each other to provide a learning environment that is differentiated and accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This team is led by the Head of Specialised Learning, Mrs Tammy Campbell, and in the Senior College the team is comprised of Specialised Learning Case Managers and Teacher Aides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\"><strong>Services provided by the Specialised Learning Team in Senior College include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In-class support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SACSAchieve \u2013 afterschool homework and study support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diagnostic assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The development of Individual Adjustment Plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parent information sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional development sessions to enhance teacher skills and understanding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance with the modification of curriculum, assessment and exams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning Transition programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative planning with teachers, students, parents and outside professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disability Provisions Applications for the Higher School Certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Determining appropriate adjustments for students with a disability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collection of data to access Commonwealth funding (NCCDSWD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SACSAchieve Homework Club Senior College<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer all students the opportunity to receive free additional support after school for the completion of homework, assignments, extended writing or research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SACSAchieve Senior College aims to provide a self-directed study space to support senior students who would like to receive assistance. It is an inclusive setting that fosters student academic efficacy, with the guidance of expert subject teachers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students have the opportunity to discuss and receive support for class tasks, assessments and general organisation.
