Junior School K-6

Christian approach

We seek to authentically model a dynamic and authentic Christian faith, creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for our children.

Our Christian tradition means we have essential convictions about the dignity of every student—each one unique, loved by God and gifted for a purpose. We seek to authentically model a dynamic and authentic Christian faith, creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for our children. We focus on the holistic development of character and an ethic of service and we work to help students build and grow relationships of grace and integrity in a context of fairness and justice.

We believe critical thinkers are ‘truth-seekers’ and so from a young age we help our students to delve into the big questions about life, existence and meaning.

Our Junior school and Gawura students have Chapel and Christian Development classes once a week where students are invited to engage with the biblical tenets of Christian faith. In addition, there are opportunities for investigating the relationship between a Christian worldview and the topics students are learning in class. Students are also invited to join informal voluntary lunchtime groups (CRU) where they can connect with others and further explore the Christian message within a small group setting.
