Tuition Fee statements for Kindergarten to Year 11 are emailed prior to the commencement of each of the four terms in January, April, July and October. Tuition Fees for Year 12 are billed in three equal instalments and emailed prior to the commencement of Terms 1, 2 and 3, as Year 12 students do not attend classes in Term 4. All fees are payable within 14 days of the issue of Fee Statements.

The School’s Outdoor Education programme is compulsory for all students from Kindergarten to Year 11. Fees for all activities in a year are invoiced evenly over each term.

Certain excursion costs may apply to students undertaking those subjects requiring such curriculum elements. Costs will be advised to parents before the actual excursion.

Senior College students who undertake the Pathways Programme are entitled to certain fee reductions depending on the subject selection. Details should be discussed with the Head of Senior College or the Registrar.

A Student Resources levy is charged separately to Tuition Fees. This covers curriculum materials and online resources, technology infrastructure, school provided laptop (for Years 5-12 students), student diary, stationery and printing.

Students in Years 7-9 have the opportunity to attend the Middle School Study Centre – a two-hour small group session once a week after school for students who need to improve their organisational skills to maximise their academic performance. This is charged per term and includes one after-school session per week.

Families seeking enrolment at the School, pay a non-refundable Enrolment Application Fee when they submit enrolment details. This fee covers the diverse variety of administrative tasks required to finalise the enrolment process.

When a student has been offered a place, parents/carers are asked to pay a non-refundable Enrolment Confirmation Fee, which is a monetary indication that the student’s enrolment has been confirmed. The non-refundable Enrolment Confirmation Fee provides automatic lifetime membership to the school’s student alumni association, the Old Andreans Association, when students complete their education at the School.

At St Andrew’s Cathedral School, we value partnering with parents in the education of their children. Many parents wish to take an active role in their child’s education. Our parents are supported by the Association of Parents and Friends, and we encourage all parents to become a financial member of this association. The P&F has a role in friend raising and fundraising in the parent community, and as such provides an important dimension of community spirit to the School. A voluntary contribution is indicated on the relevant Fee Statement.

The Voluntary Building Fund is a much-needed source of additional income that contributes to capital projects at the School. The fee statements contain a provision to donate $700 per family per annum, or $175 per term. Many families give generously to this fund and the amount can be claimed against your nominated personal income tax return in the financial year in which the donation was given (under Items in Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 – 2.1.10 school building fund).
