Academic Scholarships
The School offers a number of scholarships each year (at a range of discount levels) to students entering Years 3 to 6 and Year 7. The School expects all Academic Scholarship holders to display a high standard of achievement. The School trusts that the privilege of receiving a scholarship will build responsible attitudes, develop leadership potential and enable students to take a positive role in School life.
All Academic Scholarships are open to students presently enrolled at the School and to students wishing to enter St Andrew’s Cathedral School from 2009.
Junior School (Years 3 to 6)
A number of scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants are required to:
- Attend an interview at which they will be asked to make a short presentation on a topic of their choice (no longer than 10 minutes).
- Provide recent reports, results from external tests (for example the Basic Skills Test) or competitions that evidence their ability.
- Complete a formal assessment in basic skills.

Year 7
A number of scholarships are awarded dependent on the results of the ACER Scholarship examination, and an interview with the School Registrar.
The ACER test will be held on Saturday 10 May 2008. Applications must be submitted online no later than Friday 11 April 2008. Candidates registering after this date will incur a late fee.
