World Teachers’ Day Award Recipients
Anastasia Roy-McGrath
A passionate advocate and educator in our Indigenous school, Gawura, Anastasia has built a culture of achievement and high expectations within an Indigenous cultural framework. Working closely with elders and community, she ensures students feel valued, connected and proud of their heritage.
Jessica Carr
As Head of Languages, Jessica delivers high-impact, student-centred learning and leads with humility and purpose. Her calm, inclusive classroom and thoughtful leadership empower both students and staff to grow and succeed.

Min Chen
An exceptional Chinese language educator, Min’s clarity, professionalism and care have fostered a thriving program that balances cultural depth with academic challenge. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding the IB Chinese B Diploma Programme.

Georgina Goddard
Assistant Head of HSIE, Georgina is known for her intellectual rigour and deep care for student learning. She blends analytical challenge with real-world relevance, inspiring confident, critical thinkers across Legal Studies and Commerce.

Grace Denny
A reflective, student-centred teacher, Grace balances pastoral warmth with academic excellence. Her commitment to continual improvement and mentoring exemplifies servant leadership within our English Department.
Rachael Cosentino
As Head of Library K–6, Rachael has transformed the Library into a vibrant hub of literacy and learning. Her passion for storytelling and literacy events connects students, families and staff through a shared love of reading.

Anthony Sharman
A respected Learning Coach, Anthony supports teachers and pre-service educators through reflective mentoring and professional learning. His collaborative approach has strengthened coaching culture across the School.

Dominique Haynes
As Acting Director of Performing Arts and Director of Teaching, Dominique has led with creativity and vision, uniting staff and students in major milestone events such as our 140th Anniversary celebrations. Her leadership continues to enrich both artistic and academic life at St Andrew’s Cathedral School.

Ben Moore
A finalist for the Early Career Teacher Award, Ben is an inspiring HSIE teacher whose reflective practice, pastoral care and commitment to student wellbeing have made a lasting impact in just his second year of teaching.
