St Andrew’s Cathedral School is offering highly sought-after Scholarships through a competitive application and live audition process. These Music Scholarships recognise potential and provide the opportunity to develop their musical gifts and talents.
At the heart of the St Andrew’s Cathedral School’s Music Scholarships program is a team of over 45 tutors, all with outstanding qualifications as both performers and teachers offering individual tuition from beginner through to AMEB LMusA and beyond.
Thanks to the generosity of the St Andrew’s Cathedral School Council, music scholarships are open to all instruments including:
- strings (including harp)
- piano (classical or jazz)
- singing (classical or contemporary)
- percussion (drum kit and auxiliary percussion)
Students and non-students of St Andrew’s Cathedral School are encouraged to apply for this coveted opportunity.
A St Andrew’s Cathedral School Music Scholarship provides aspiring musicians with the opportunity to work with highly qualified teachers; tuition, musicianship and ensemble activity, and access to the Andrean family of artists, mentors, classes and concerts – life changing opportunities that will continue to excite and engage young people and adults in the joy of making music.
In 2018, we invite high achieving, talented musicians to apply for music scholarships, helping set them on a pathway to music success as part of their academic schedule. Music Scholarships (at a range of percentages) are offered to encourage students with instrumental or vocal proficiency, or students who may be particularly gifted in music composition.
Music Scholarships are available to students entering Years 4, 5 and/or 6 and Years 7 to 11 to strengthen the already vibrant music program in the School. Music Scholarships are open to students presently enrolled at the School and to students wishing to enter St Andrew’s Cathedral School in 2019. Scholarships are subject to an application process and shortlisted candidates are invited to audition with the Director of Performing Arts and their nominated panel members, and include an interview with the School Registrar.
To apply for a St Andrew’s Cathedral School Music Scholarship, complete and return the Music Scholarship Application Form, evidence and payment by Friday 2 February 2018 to Mr Bruce Perry (Registrar) c/o email@example.com or via post to:
