In preparation of NAIDOC Week, the celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and achievements, students from Gawura and the Junior School have been working tirelessly to present John Marsden’s award winning book, The Rabbits, during the Head of School Assembly on Wednesday 25 June 2008 in the Cathedral.

Animals Flock to Sydney Square

Our City neighbours would have thought it was an earthquake which shook the ground on Monday afternoon, as the students of St Andrew’s Cathedral School presented an audacious musical extravaganza for the first time on Sydney Square at this year’s Showcase Concert – All Creatures Great and Small.

Introduction of the IB Diploma Programme 2009

As you are aware, we are seeking authorisation to become an IB school and introduce the Diploma Programme in 2009. This will provide students the opportunity to choose an alternative path of study which is recognised for university entrance around the world. As we hope to introduce the IB in Term 1, 2009, the current Year 10 cohort will be the first students who will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.
